If you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, you’ll certainly get bored and abandon it at some point of time. But your artilces will not be connected together and you will have to face troubles in ranking well in search engines. But it doesn’t mean that you have to narrow down your niche too much. It may be easy to rank for, but you will not get much traffic for this because there are lesser number of people who are interested in your niche.

It’s highly important to know whether your niche is profitable or not. Niches like health and insurance are highly profitable but they’re highly competitive as well. Now what? Analyze the competition of your niche using tools like Market Samurai (free trial available) and Rank Tracker (free trial available).
